About Orcas
Many people regard Orcas Island as the most spectacular of the San Juan Islands. Mt. Constitution provides panoramic views of the entire archipelago. Moran Park offers miles of trails and breathtaking scenery. For more information about Orcas Island or Moran Park: http://www.orcasisle.com.

Directions for Driving: From Seattle or Vancouver, BC, take I-5 to exit #230, the Anacortes-San Juan Islands Ferry exit, just north of Mt. Vernon. In Anacortes, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Board the ferry to Orcas Island. On Orcas, turn left as you come off the ferry ramp, and follow the road signs (about 10 miles) to Eastsound village. A small sign will direct you to turn right onto Main Street. Drive through town and after exiting you'll come to Crescent Beach on your right. At the intersection, turn right onto Olga Road and follow the signs to Moran Park, which is six miles southeast of Eastsound. After passing Cascade Lake, follow the road up the hill a short way to the Environmental Learning Center on your right. Don't go up Mt. Constitution!

Ferry Travel: Ferries run about every 2 to 3 hours, and there are no reservations. Fares are round trip - you only pay for westbound travel. If you're driving on, plan to arrive at least an hour ahead of time. Foot passengers can walk without the wait and take the shuttle from the ferry landing into Eastsound. When planning your trip be sure to refer to an updated summer schedule. Schedule information is available via Internet at http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/ or call 888-808-7977.
