Where to Stay
We have listed below a few lodging options for you. We encourage you to make reservations early, as rooms on Orcas Island fill fast.
Cascade Harbor Inn is located near Rosario Resort, about a fifteen-minute drive from Eastsound. The Inn is holding a block of rooms for Festival participants, but you must call or email them to make your own reservations. Tell them you are with the festival when you register. Ignore the website message that says they are sold out. Rooms rent from $90-$279 and have beautiful views of the Sound. Call 800-201-2120, or 360-376-6350 Email: cascade@rockisland.com.
The Eastsound Landmark Inn offers two-bedroom condos and three-bedroom townhouses for vacation stays. The Landmark is located in downtown Eastsound, next door to Outlook Inn, the site of many Friday events. Prices begin at $194. Call 800-622-4758.
Doe Bay Resort, located on the east side of the island, features a hostel, cabins, yurts, and campsites. Prices begin at $35/night (online rate for campsite). Call 360-376-2291 for more information.
Outlook Inn. Our Friday classes will meet at the Outlook Inn, which is located in the center of Eastsound, and which has a lovely view of the water. Update: You may wish to check and see if The Outlook has had a cancellation but as of August 12 they are full during the Festival. The Outlook Inn offers three types of hotel rooms: Luxury Bay Suites, which are advertised as the best rooms on the island; the East Building, which are traditional hotel rooms; and the Historic Main Building, which are sweet, small rooms with a shared bath that go for as low as $74/night. Call 360-376-2200 or email info@outlookinn.com.
